Join us for this comprehensive, hands-on Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, AED, and First Aid certification course taught by experienced preparedness instructors from Urban Survival Craft. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, babysitter, teacher, coach, caregiver, wellness professional, or simply someone who wants to be better prepared for emergencies, this course will provide practical skills and confidence that can make a difference when it matters most.
This ASHI (American Safety & Health Institute) certification is valid for 2 years and combines classroom instruction with hands-on practice and skill demonstrations throughout the day.

Instructor: Mark Barros
Mark Barros is a South Florida-based preparedness educator, certified instructor, and security professional with more than 40 years of experience in emergency preparedness, public safety, security operations, and disaster readiness. A 26-year member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, Mark has dedicated much of his career to helping individuals, families, and organizations develop the knowledge and confidence needed to respond effectively during emergencies. His background includes search and rescue, emergency response, public safety education, and extensive FEMA emergency management training.
As the owner of Pinnacle Security & Technology and co-founder of Urban Survival Craft, Mark combines real-world experience with a practical, approachable teaching style. He is passionate about helping people build resilience through preparedness, situational awareness, emergency planning, and lifesaving skills. A lifelong South Florida resident, Mark's work is shaped by decades of experience navigating hurricanes, coastal living, and the belief that preparedness is not about fear—it's about confidence, capability, and peace of mind.
Instructor: Tony Torre
Tony Torre is a Miami-based preparedness educator, survival instructor, and defensive tactics trainer with more than 40 years of experience in emergency preparedness, personal protection, martial arts, and real-world crisis response. A retired bail bondsman with over two decades of field experience, Tony has worked extensively in surveillance, fugitive recovery, executive protection, and tactical training throughout South Florida. He has trained civilians, private security personnel, and law enforcement professionals, bringing a practical, experience-based approach to emergency readiness and personal safety.
In addition to his extensive tactical background, Tony holds certifications in trauma management, wilderness first aid, workplace security, and active shooter response. A published author and lifelong martial artist holding a 6th Degree Black Belt in Modern Arnis, Tony is passionate about helping everyday people build confidence, situational awareness, and lifesaving skills. His teaching style emphasizes calm preparedness, practical application, and the belief that resilience is developed through knowledge, training, and experience.
