This month we'll do a Cady Way Trail ride we've done in the past. You will have TWO choices of ride duration for riders with different capabilities.
If you think you're a cycling newbie and want an easier ride--all on paved off-road trails--we have you covered! We're also going to start earlier in the morning to beat the heat and leave more time for other things in your day!
We'll meet at the Cady Way Pool in Winter Park and ride the Cady Way Trail at a relaxed pace south to Lake Baldwin, then circumnavigate Lake Baldwin and ride back to the starting point at the Cady Way Pool. For folks that want to stop there, we estimate it will be about 30-45 minutes of riding.
For those that want a longer ride comparable to past Infidels treks, we'll continue north on the Cady Way Trail into Seminole County (where it's called the Cross Seminole Trail) to a turnaround point at the Provenance subdivision (a 7-Eleven is nearby if needed for snacks or bathroom) and then ride back to the Cady Way Pool. The full ride will be roughly 1-1/2 hours total.
After the ride, we will meet at the Panera Bread at 2516 Aloma Ave, Winter Park. That is roughly a mile from the Cady Way Pool.

Beginner and intermediate riders will be fine on this "no-drop" ride, meaning we will not let anyone fall behind and get separated from the group.
You MUST wear a helmet and sign a waiver of liability (do this in advance to save time). A parent or legal guardian must sign for, accompany, and be responsible for all persons under the age of 18.
You only need to sign the liability waiver once. You can print, sign, and bring, or we will have copies at the event:

We will roll exactly at the start time unless you message us that you are running a bit late and we see the message before leaving. The ride leader and host, Doug, will arrive 30 minutes before the start time. Please make sure tires are pumped, you have water/snacks as needed, and are prepared for other contingencies. A spare tire tube would be a good idea if you have one. If you don't have special bike clothes, that's totally fine! Wear comfortable athletic attire that will not get caught in your bike.
Common courtesy to fellow riders and other folks on the trails is appreciated.
Please have Emergency Contact Information on you (not in your phone). If you have something like a RoadID please wear it; otherwise a paper in a baggie with the information on it will work as well.
Feel free to contact event host Doug via direct message if you have any questions or need more information. If you need to cancel, please change your RSVP to NO so other riders don’t have to wait for people that never show up. If you are running late, please call Doug.
WEATHER
We will be monitoring the weather in the event conditions do not look favorable. Unless the event is cancelled by 7 AM, the event will happen as scheduled. Check in here and monitor this event if you are unsure.
