Pedal Your Butte-Off!

The 3rd Annual Pedal Your Butte-Off!™ Challenge is a human-powered wheel event where entrants use their creativity and imagination to build a wheeled device powered only by human(s) (no motors of any kind allowed!). Entrants follow a pre-designated route through the Town of Crested Butte and return to Town Park for live music by local favorite EASY JIM, beer, food, and celebrate life at our free festive event where we will announce the 2024 'Challenge' winner!

While ANY wheeled device powered by humans can be entered, the winner of the 2024 Pedal Your-Butte-Off!™ Challenge will be judged by the following:

• The uniqueness, inventiveness, and creativity of their human-powered wheeled device entry.
• The overall theme (costumes, decorations, circuses: sounds, lights, steam).
• Mustache? Do you really have to ask! Grow it, paint-it, glue-it, or draw-it — but just sport-it!
• Entries must complete the route with everything they started with (all parts, pieces, and people).
• Entrants must turn in a completely stamped Challenge passport.
• The amount of donations raised and shown on your profile page.
