Pebble Stack - Ceramic hand-building workshop

Join us in Costa del Stockport this summer for a beach-inspired ceramic handbuilding workshop with Kate Butler.

Kate will guide you through the pinch pot process, showing you how to create and join textured 'pebbles' together into a contemporary sculpture, bud vase, or candle holder inspired by the mindful practice of stone stacking.

No previous experience necessary, just enthusiasm and a splash of creativity!

Building up small, manageable components into a larger piece of work, this process is also perfect for small hands or people who have dexterity related issues and may otherwise struggle to engage in pottery workshops.(Any participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a helpful adult)

Your work will be fired and ready for collection 3 weeks from the workshop date.

What to bring

• Relaxed clothing that you don't mind getting a little messy. Bring your own apron if you have one.

Transport

• We are within a short walk from Stockport train and bus station. Parking is available at the Merseyway Shopping Centre NCP.

Refunds and Booking Terms

• Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. As the workshop fees part support the work we do for as a non-for-profit, and because materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date.

• Unfortunately we cannot offer part refunds if you miss a session or are unable to attend!
