Join us for a special program on soldier life in the Civil War! As the 160th anniversary of the war draws to a close, the Pearce Museum is hosting a "living history" with volunteer historians, each one portraying an individual whose letter survives in our collection. Meet the people, ask them questions, listen and watch their drill and musket demonstrations, and experience what life was like as a soldier in the 1860s.Participants who wish to take part in this program must make a request and be approved by the staff.
