Peaks to Point Spotlight Night

Come for a leisurely 800 metre walk to observe nocturnal animals that can be found along the Spotted Gum trail in Springfield Lakes.
About this Event

Springfield Lakes Nature Care Inc (SLNC) is holding a Spotlight Night as part of the Peaks to Point Festival.

The walk will be along graded tracks to the observe nocturnal animals that inhabit this section of bush in Springfield Lakes.

We meet at the big gate. BYO Torch & binoculars. Please wear comfortable closed in shoes, long sleeved shirts and long trousers and a jumper to keep you warm. If we are lucky, we will see one or two squirrel gliders that have taken up residence in one of the special rear entry glider boxes. They leave just after dusk so please be punctual. Afterwards we will provide a warm cup of HOT chocolate & marshmallows in the local park beside the lake.
