While Peaceprints is a reentry nonprofit rather than an arts organization, one of the most powerful ways we bring our community together is through this event. Now in its fourth year, the Client Art Show will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Eckl's @ Larkin. The evening captures the feel of a gallery opening, with live music, hors d'oeuvres, and an open bar, while guests bid on original artwork created by Peaceprints clients during in-jail art therapy classes. Each piece is accompanied by an artist's statement, offering an opportunity to engage with real stories of accountability, creativity, and transformation. Each artist will receive a portion of the sale of their art.
Proceeds from the Art Show directly support Peaceprints' reentry programs, including safe housing, counseling, education, employment training, and other essential supports for individuals returning to the community. Last year, the event raised more than $75,000, and this year our goal is $95,000 as we expand our service area to reach even more families in Erie and Niagara Counties. In our region, about 77 out of every 100 people leaving jail end up back behind bars. Among the thousands served by Peaceprints programs, only 7 out of 100 experience that same outcome-representing thousands of lives stabilized, families reunited, and futures restored.
Ample free parking is available. Tickets include a client art display, an open bar, hors'd'oeuvres, live music, and a keynote address by Peaceprints clients.
Thank you to our event sponsors @KeyBank, @LawleyInsurance, @Wegmans
