Lake Erie Sub-Basin Work Group Meeting Spring 2026

DEC’s Great Lakes Program is planning a Lake Erie Sub-Basin Work Group meeting at the Isaías González-Soto Branch Library on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 1:00pm - 3:00pm, with an optional tour of the BSA Green Infrastructure Projects from 3:00pm - 4:00pm.

Tentative meeting objectives include sharing DEC Regional and Great Lakes Program updates, hearing updates from partners, reviewing and discussing sub-basin work planning progress, as well as discussing upcoming opportunities to apply for funding and collaborate with other work group members.

We encourage you to participate in the GLAA Work Group Survey to help us facilitate collaboration with work group members and provide you with access to the Lake Erie Sub-Basin Work Group SharePoint, where resources including an Index of Partners based on survey responses are available for work group members. Reviewing the materials in SharePoint in advance can help partners be better prepared for meeting discussions.

The library has dedicated accessible parking spots and there is a lift to access the meeting room on the lower floor. Accessible restrooms are available. The first location for the field trip is in walking distance of the library and will be mostly on City of Buffalo sidewalks. The second location is driving distance and will also be on City of Buffalo sidewalks.
