Peacenik Collective’s A Season for Peace and Love John Lennon Memorial Peace Concert with special guest Randall Andrus brings Art, Music, and Community Together.Peacenik Collective presents a powerful night of peace, love, and music to raise funds for the Gospel Mission on Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, featuring an exclusive auction of artwork donated by Canucks legend and acclaimed artist Richard “King Richard” Brodeur.
As the winter chill settles over Vancouver, an extraordinary collaboration is warming hearts. On December 5, 2025, Peacenik Collective returns with an uplifting community concert designed to bring people together through music, compassion, and action. This special evening will raise much needed funds for the Gospel Mission Society, an organization providing hot meals, support, and dignity to those living on Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
Richard Brodeur — beloved Vancouver Canucks goaltender and celebrated artist, has generously donated art to be auctioned exclusively for the event and can be found at;

All proceeds from these donated pieces will go directly to support the Mission’s food and outreach programs.
The night features performances by Peacenik Collective (Cherelle Jardine, Marc Gladstone, Scott Jackson, Bruce Coughlan, Gord Maxwell and Greg Stuart), joined by special guest Randall Andrus (who works at the Mission), delivering music rooted in unity, humanity, and healing.
“We all believe that music has the power to heal and connect people,” says Cherelle, one of the band’s founding members. “John Lennon stood for peace, equality, and empathy, values that are needed now more than ever.” This year marks 45 years since his death and our 3rd annual concert.
We chose this time of year to put on a concert to help communities and pay tribute to John and all he stood for.
In a season that should be about togetherness, Peacenik Collective is on a mission to revive the spirit of the ’60s peace movement and remind us that love is still the most powerful revolution of all. This concert is part of a larger movement by the group to spark meaningful conversations, build bridges, and generate tangible support for local communities in need and offers a chance for the community to come together, enjoy uplifting music, while making a difference.
Peacenik Collective is also asking for donations of warm clothing, toques, scarves, socks, blankets, and women’s hygiene products.
If you can't make the show but would like to purchase a ticket - you can "pay it forward". Purchase a ticket and put donation in the name section and we will donate your ticket to someone who can't afford to come to the show.
