Join Marie for Peaceful Kids Yoga! Yoga for kids is a balance between spontaneity and structure, kids will move their body, explore their breath, and express themselves creatively. This class incorporates physical movement, breath work and ends with a treat and coloring page to take home. An invitation for children to learn in a multi-sensory environment which explores kinesthetic (movement), visual, oral, inter-and intra-personal learning.Kids will benefit by practicing in a welcoming environment, developing and building strength, coordination, flexibility and balance. In addition to the physical benefits, yoga brings calmness and peace of mind allowing children to become more aware of their bodies, achieve better focus and concentration; or in yoga terms, creating mindfulness.
*Parents are welcome to enjoy a cup of tea in our lobby!
