Peace and Pilates - Self Love Soother
A relaxation and movement session to restore a sense of peace to mind and body, and nurture your spirit away from your troubles, whatever your body is feeling like!
You've heard of yoga and meditation, Liisa and Judy bring a fresh alternative: Peace and Pilates.
This event is all about supporting yourself through self love and finding a place of inner peace while moving your body gently - yet effectively.
Whether you’re a Pilates pro or just curious, come as you are and soak in some good vibes.
Liisa has particular skill in supporting women recovering from injury to rediscover strength and help you to find ways to ease pain. Liisa will tailor each movement piece to your ability to gently stretch and awaken you from overthinking. Enjoy this peace to stretch, breathe, and unwind together!
Judy uses her skills in meditation, reiki and energy healing to help you find a space of peace in the busy-ness of your mind.
Together this session aims to help you find an inner power and an inner peace - you perhaps didn't realise was waiting for you!

10.30 Welcome, circle of connection and reflective breathing exercise
10.45 Movement phase 1: Exploring the feeling of love in your body
11.00 Reflection and meditation: Loving and listening to yourself
11.20 Movement phase 2: Feeling resistance in your body and inviting a shift
11.40 Reflection and meditation: The power hidden in you
12.00 Close of circle
12.00-12.30 Tea available for anyone wishing to stay for additional connection and reflection.
Liisa discovered the power of Pilates, 20 years ago because of a chronic back problem.
"I was curious how Pilates exercises benefitted me, not just to ease my back and improve strength and posture but in building a sense of inner peace and connection.
"Pilates enables you to discover a love of movement, whatever your age or ability.
"I see a real connection with aspects of Pilates movement and the relaxation of mindfulness. This session brings these practices together with guidance to help you to pay attention to your own body, to understand the calming effects for the mind and enhance your general physical state.
"This is where the idea began for me to offer a different type of Pilates. Not for exercise, flexibility and core control - alone, but by taking Pilates movements, adapting them & slowing them down. Adding in gentle breath patterns & focusing on your body.
