Pick Up Volleyball PDX is excited to be teaming up with Taino PDX Volleyball to bring you our End of Summer 💰CASH PRIZE💰Tournament!
The format is Women’s/Men’s Grass Doubles. Total purse is ~$5,000! WOMEN’S CASH PAYOUTS WILL BE EQUAL TO MEN’S with the winner of each AA division taking home a minimum of $1,000, and the winner of each BB division taking home a minimum of $600.
Cost per team is $100. Please send all payments to @PDXSummerSlam on Venmo,

**We are looking forward to giving our extremely talented women’s players an equal spotlight and payout at this tournament, as there have been a shortage of opportunities offered in the past few years. **
NO SANDBAGGING WILL BE ALLOWED, your team should be signing up at the level of your highest player
While this tournament is a cash payout and will be competitive, players are expected as always to treat others with respect. No arguing with ref calls, No talking across the net, etc. GOOD VIBES ONLY 🏐🫶🏼

~Full payment and full roster is required by August 16th to keep your spot. If you have not paid and do not have a full team, your team will be dropped.
~Last date to request a refund is August 23rd.
Day of Details:
~ We will be playing at Leroy Haagen Memorial Park in Vancouver, WA
~ Check in at 8am, Captains Meeting 8:15, first serve 8:30.
~ Pool Play
4 team pools will be one game to 28, cap 28.
3 team pools will be 2 games to 21, cap 21.
~ Bracket play
Modified double elimination. Traditional double elim. until we reach final 4, then we will change to single elim.
Winners bracket: best of 3 (21/21/15) no cap
Losers bracket: 1 set (25) no cap
