Following the election of our 2026 PDTC Committee and the long-awaited end to another wet season, our first priority is getting our beautiful club and grounds looking their very best for the year ahead.We’re inviting all club members, families, friends, and volunteers to join us for our upcoming PDTC Working Bee on Sunday, 19th May 2026 from 8:30am at the courts.
This is a great opportunity to come together as a tennis community and help tidy up around the clubhouse and courts in preparation for upcoming tournaments, events, and another fantastic year of tennis.
Whether you can spare 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or a few hours, every bit of help is greatly appreciated — as they say, many hands make light work! Living in Far North Queensland means our grounds certainly feel the effects of the wet and cyclone season, so this is an important chance to help keep our club looking amazing for members, juniors, locals, and visitors alike.
To say thank you, the PDTC Committee will be putting on a BBQ breakfast for all volunteers ��
And of course, it wouldn’t be a PDTC gathering without some tennis — everyone is welcome to stay afterwards for a social hit on the courts �
We’d love to see as many friendly faces there as possible!
