PdP Timberlake Office/Community Center - West Chicago (LV: TBD)

Volunteer numbers for this project are based on adults and children ages 11 and older. Younger children are encouraged to attend with their parents but registration is NOT needed for any child 10 and under.

What sort of work will I be doing?

LANDSCAPING: Put red mulch down and plant flowers in front of the Timberlake Offices.

Put cedar mulch down in front of the Community Center.

HANDYMAN/CARPENTRY WORK: Install anchors for curtains and replace the lock on a door.

PAINTING: Prime and paint two walls and do some touch ups on doors, base boards and walls.

CLEANING: Deep clean carpets, couches, and chairs/chair covers, as well as remove some desks, chairs and a ping pong table and put in the dumpster.

• Gardening Gloves

El número de voluntarios para este proyecto se basa en adultos y niños mayores de 11 años. Se anima a los niños más pequeños a que asistan con sus padres, pero el registro NO ES NECESARIO para cualquier niño menores de 10 años.

¿Que tipo de trabajo estaré realizando?

JARDINERÍA: Colocar mantillo rojo y plantar flores frente a las oficinas de Timberlake.

Colocar mantilla de cedro frente al Centro Comunitario.

TRABAJOS DE CARPINTERÍA: Instalar anclajes para cortinas y reemplazar la cerradura de una puerta.

PINTURA: Pintar dos paredes y realizar retoques de pintura en puertas, en la moldura inferior de las paredes y en otras áreas de las paredes.

LIMPIEZA: Limpiar a fondo alfombras, sillones y sillas/fundas de sillas, así como retirar algunos escritorios, sillas y una mesa de ping pong y colocarlos en el contenedor de basura.
