NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Plymouth & District Basketball Association will be held as follows:
Date: Friday 24th July
Venue: Elburton Villa, Haye Road PL9 8HS
Time: 7pm
Purpose of the AGM
The AGM will provide an opportunity to:
Review the past season
Present financial reports
Elect committee members
Discuss proposals for the development and governance of the league
Committee Structure & Elections
The Association is seeking nominations for the following roles:
Executive Committee
Chair (Currently Joe Bentley)
Vice Chair (Currently Steve Avent)
Secretary (Currently Lindsay Chapman)
Treasurer (Currently Simon Harvey)
Welfare / Safeguarding Officer (Currently Lindsay Chapman)
Disciplinary Officer (Currently Dan Stevens)
Club Development Officer (Currently unfiilled)
Operational / Non-Executive Roles
Officials Allocation – Senior P&D League (Currently Steve Avent)
Officials Allocation – Other Competitions (Currently Chris Chapman – stood down from this role)
Junior League Coordinators (Currently Lindsay Chapman and Thomas Peters)
Fixtures Secretary/ Competition Secretary / Results Coordinator (currently Steve Avent)
Officials Development
Officials Development Lead – Referees (Currently Chris Chapman)
Officials Development Lead – Table Officials (Currently Lindsay Chapman and Jo Lloyd)
Communications & Engagement
Social Media Officer (currently Steve Avent)
Nominations
We ask for nominations for all roles to be submitted prior to the AGM where possible and these can be submitted to [email protected]
