About this Event

Description: Restorative culture isn't built in a single training — it's sustained through daily practice, intentional relationship-building, and ongoing reflection. This session invites educators into a circle space to examine what's working, what's wearing thin, and how to keep restorative practices alive and consistent throughout the school year. Together, we'll explore practical strategies for embedding restorative habits into everyday routines, troubleshoot common challenges that cause practices to fade, and reconnect with the shared purpose that makes this work sustainable. Participants will leave with renewed tools, a supportive community of practice, and a concrete plan for keeping restorative culture strong long after the session ends.

Session Objectives:

1. Identify the core elements of a restorative culture and assess how consistently they are

currently being practiced in participants' classrooms or school communities.

2. Explore practical strategies for embedding restorative practices (circles, language, repair processes) into daily routines so they become sustainable habits rather than one-time events.

3. Examine common barriers to maintaining restorative culture over time — such as staff turnover, competing priorities, or practice fatigue — and generate concrete solutions.

4. Develop a personalized action plan for sustaining restorative practices in the weeks and months ahead, including strategies for staying accountable and connected to a community of practice.
