Hike55up Group Hike – PCT via Grouse Gap.Join us for a beautiful summer hike on June 7th at 9:00 AM!
We’ll meet at the Grouse Gap Pavilion/Shelter on Mt. Ashland, then head out together on the Pacific Crest Trail for one of our favorite wildflower (hopefully) walks of the season.
This stretch of trail is known for its vibrant summer blooms, open meadows, and sweeping views. It’s a peaceful, scenic hike with gentle grades—perfect for slowing down, taking photos, and soaking in the beauty of Southern Oregon while on the PCT!
Hike Details:
• Distance: 3-4 miles
• Elevation Gain: ~470 ft
• Difficulty: Moderate
This is a great hike for anyone looking to enjoy hiking as we age, connect with others, and experience the trail at a comfortable, enjoyable pace.
Carpooling is encouraged—feel free to coordinate in the discussion! We can also connect at the Mt Ashland lodge parking lot and then caravan around to the trailhead.
