Pickerington Community Theatre reaches for the stars with all-new, never-before-seen stage adaption of the classic sci-fi b-movie Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. Filled with humor, camp, and no shortage of deliciously cheesy dialogue, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is a much-loved 1964 holiday film known affectionately by fans as one of the worst movies ever made. When the leaders of Mars can’t figure out why their children are so sullen, they decide to cheer the young ones up with their first ever Christmas. You can’t have Christmas without Santa Claus, of course, but the only Santa available already belongs to the children of Earth. The obvious solution: abduct the Jolly Old Elf for themselves!THE STORY:
Breaking news! Worldwide alert! Santa Claus has been abducted by marauding green fiends from Mars! What do these viridescent villains want with our Father Christmas? Will the Jolly Old Elf find freedom in time to save the Yuletide season? Find out when Pickerington Community Theatre presents “Santa Claus Conquers the Martians!”
PERFORMANCE INFORMATION:
Performances will be held at the Violet Township Community Theater at the Wigwam Event Center (10190 Blacklick-Eastern Road Northwest, Pickerington, OH 43147). Performances dates are Fridays (8:00 PM), Saturdays (8:00 PM), and Sundays (2:00 PM), December 6 – 15.
