PCT Presents: Auditions for Disney Pixar's Finding Nemo Jr.
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Disney’s Finding Nemo Jr. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
Auditions will be held Friday July 24 and Saturday July 25. Auditions will be held Epiphany Lutheran Church located at 268 Hill Road N. Pickerington, OH 43147.

2. Fill out an audition form – Save time by filling out your audition form before you arrive. You can complete it on your computer/device and print it, or print it and fill it out by hand (please write legibly). Audition forms will also be available at auditions, but please allow plenty of time to complete it before the start of your audition window.

3. Download sides to practice – Part of your audition will include reading one or more of the “sides” on the linked Google Drive. You may be asked to read different parts, including ones you’re not specifically auditioning for. This doesn’t mean you’re not being considered for every character. Just have fun and get into character for every role.

4. Please prepare a song excerpt (no longer than 1 minute) for your music audition. Do NOT sing a song from Finding Nemo Jr. A Bluetooth speaker will be provided for playing a backing track from your phone or other Bluetooth device. We will not have an accompanist on hand to play sheet music. Do NOT use a backing track with vocals. It should be instrumental only. We want to hear you! (Instrumental/karaoke tracks of popular songs are usually easy to find on YouTube.)
What to expect at your audition:
When you arrive at your audition, you will have your picture taken and a number will be assigned to you.
Auditions will consist of your music audition and (if you are auditioning for a speaking role) a reading from the sides linked above.
Callbacks (if needed) will be held Sunday, July 26 from 2-5pm at the same location as auditions. You will be notified Saturday evening, if you’re requested to attend callback. Not being called back does not mean you’re not cast in the show, or that you didn’t get the part you want.
The final cast list will be sent via email by Wednesday night, July 29th and posted on our website and social media.
Rehearsals will be held Friday evenings, Saturday mornings, and Sunday afternoons beginning July 31, 2026. ALL cast members MUST attend the first rehearsal to receive your materials, take costume measurements, and complete any paperwork. Tech Week (Sunday through Thursday before Opening Night) will include weeknight rehearsals.
It’s very important to fill out the conflicts section of the audition form as accurately as possible. Conflicts don’t necessarily affect what part you get. We just need to know everyone’s conflicts to schedule rehearsals to maximize everyone’s time. Attendance at tech week rehearsals and all performances is required.
