Each year, the Pike County Sheriff's Office, in collaboration with the Black History Gallery, commemorates Black History Month by honoring African Americans who have made meaningful and lasting contributions to the progress of Pike County, Mississippi. As part of this effort, images of these individuals are featured on a vehicle wrap, transforming a public space into a moving tribute that brings local Black history directly into the community. This initiative ensures that the stories, leadership, and legacy of Pike County's African American citizens are visible, remembered, and celebrated throughout the county. Free and open to the public.
