Fall 2026
Paddle City Big Band was established in 2022, taking BDACT’s stage twice a year with a spring and fall Sunday matinee concert. They are 19 members strong, consisting of local musicians who share a love for big band music. PCBB performs traditional big band music from Glenn Miller and Count Basie, to more contemporary arrangements in the big band style, of familiar popular tunes.
Paddle City’s Fall Concert on Nov. 22nd will feature compositions made popular by Count Basie (Big Dipper), Tommy Dorsey (Opus One), Billy Byers (Come Fly With Me), Phil Collins(Sussudio), and Stevie Wonder(Higher Ground). PCBB is thrilled to share the stage with our guest artist Jacob Opperman, a Northeastern Wisconsin saxophonist who will debut and solo on his original Jazz Orchestra piece, Paper Thin Monsters.
