Navigating worker classification, payroll rules and programs and 'fake full-service' payroll companies can cause major penalties and headaches! We will go over some basics of classifying workers, payroll rules and laws and tips and tricks for new employers in Colorado.
Speaker Bio
We have been helping small businesses with book cleanup, and SALT resolution for over 15 years. I joined the board of Simplify Colorado Sales Tax Coalition and am now involved with many of the SALT issues in our State. I also am one of the Professionals that worked with the Dept of Labor on both SUTS and FAMLI programs as well as website suggestions and changes. I have a passion for helping new and small business owners navigate compliance so they can spend their valuable time building their business!
