Come and join us for a Pay Equity Picnic!
11am @ Majestic Square, Whanganui
The scrapping of 33 active Pay Equity claims impacted so many workers. Labour is committed restoring Pay Equity legislation in the first 100 days. To recognise the massive mahi of these amazing workers who were impacted and to celebrate everything that those who came before us fought for on Labour Day, we are holding a Pay Equity Picnic.
Come and show the importance of solidarity and community this Labour Day. Wear purple, bring a blanket, snacks and the whole whānau as we highlight the workers who this day is for, and the work that is still to come.
