Woof, woof - Charlie here! I am the proud ambassador of the upcoming "Pawsome Run" event.
I am excited to invite all my fellow dog friends to join me for the "Pawsome Run" at the Canterbury A & P Park. This is our chance to show our humans how much fun running can be. Here are all the details you need to get those tails wagging:
Every Human competitor receives a Pawsome Medal when they finish and every Dog receives a Pawsome Dog Tag when they finish.
We have three Pawsome Run options to choose from:
2.5km Run/Walk - One lap around the park, perfect for a light jog and lots of sniffing
5km Run/Walk - Two laps around the park for the more energetic - so long as your human can handle it.
10km Run/Walk - Four laps around the park for the more energetic - so long as your human can handle it.
Guess what? We dogs get to register for Free! But there's a catch - every dog must register at least one human to run with them. All humans must be registered, and no dog can enter without a human. After all, someone needs to carry the treats!
Start Time:
The 10km Run/Walk will start at 10:00am, the 5km Run/Walk will start at 10:05am and the 2.5km Run/Walk will start at 10:10am. Event Briefing will be for the humans at 9:45am.
Virtual:
If your humans cannot get you to the event, or if you are not too keen to participate with all these people, don't panic. You can still enter and receive the medal and dog tag. Enter the Virtual Event and your medal and dog tag will be sent out to you.
Meet me the Ambassador - Charlie:
I'm known as Charlie the Cavoodle or just Charlie to my mates, apparently my humans say I'm an enthusiastic and friendly 24 month old Cavoodle who loves to run, walk, and fetch my favourite ball. Yes, I walk my humans anywhere between 5km and 7km a day (2 walks a day). I'm going to lead the pack and cheer us all on and give a few humans a chase up. Come and meet me (Charlie) and enjoy a day full of fun, fitness and heaps of furry friends.
