Become a Hospice Animal-Assisted Therapy Volunteer
Do you and your pet have a special gift for bringing comfort to others? CentraCare Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers and their Pet Partners certified therapy animals to help provide meaningful support to patients and families during life’s most tender moments.
As part of our Animal-Assisted Therapy team, you and your pet can offer a calming presence, reduce stress and anxiety, and create moments of joy, connection, and peace. Even a brief visit can make a lasting difference for someone in their final moments of life.
Volunteer Requirements:
Come to our information session to learn about what it takes to be Pet Partners certified and the requirements for volunteering with hospice.
