Paws to Read- Read to a Cat in April

The adorable cats from Tabby's Place, a cage-free haven for cats from desperate circumstances, are visiting the Pennington Public Library! Young readers can sign up for a 15-minute time slot to read to a cat. Studies show that children who read aloud to animals on a regular basis become more confident, skilled readers. Bring your own book or borrow one of ours- this is the perfect opportunity to practice your reading skills with a furry friend by your side!

Recommended for ages 5-10. Please register for one 15-minute reading session per family or friend group.

Cats in the Aged to Purrfection program are regularly examined by the Tabby's Place veterinary staff and have all received current vaccines and disease screenings.
