About this Event
Clever Corvids: Understanding the World's Smartest Birds at the Watershed Institute
We have always wondered what intelligent life from other planets would look like, but what about in our own backyard? What are some examples of non-human intelligence we come across every day? Are some animals smarter than others? Corvids - birds like ravens, crows, and jays - display some extraordinary markers of intelligence among birds, and even other animals! Come learn about these amazing birds, take a hike to look for them out on the Reserve, and just like the corvids, think your way through a multi-step problem as you build a fun contraption.
NOTE: Parts of this program will be held OUTSIDE. Please dress for the weather!
A Beyond The Page program in partnership between The Pennington Public Library and The Watershed Institute.
