We are thrilled to introduce you to Paws in Motion 5K, an event dedicated to making a significant impact on the lives of animals in our community. This unique event brings together animal lovers, advocates, and local businesses to support these deserving animal rescue organizations in our area, including the following:

Established by Louisiana native Sue Sampey, The Drew Pet Foundation strives to support local shelters by providing essential resources such as food, care supplies, toys, funding for animal transportation, and neutering services. Since its inception in 2012, the foundation, under Sue's leadership, has positively impacted the health, happiness, and adoption prospects of numerous animals. To further its mission, the foundation organizes annual non-profit events like Pet Fest to raise funds. Your support is crucial in sustaining our efforts.

The primary objective of this 5k event is to fully finance a CBC Machine, dedicated to aiding in infection diagnosis at JPAWS, the shelter collaborating with Sue for the welfare of animals. The acquisition of this machine will lead to significant improvements, as all laboratory blood tests can be conducted on-site in less than 5 minutes. Any surplus funds generated will contribute to a forthcoming promotional event for The Drew Pet Foundation.
