Have you ever had pawpaw fruit? King/Potter has a small patch but they haven’t fruited. We will improve the likelihood that they will fruit by collecting scions that will later be grafted to the stand at the Walter Reserve. Learn how this is done.
A very lovely butterfly, the zebra swallowtail, might exist in one or both of these nature preserves that is dependent upon the pawpaw tree for its existence. Learn more about this lovely pollinator and how we can improve their habitat!
