Plein Air Ventura County (PAVC) artists:
Let's take a field trip to Ojai to join in on the "Ojai Mystique" events happening at Ojai Valley Museum. The exhibit was fantastic last year, and I think we all were inspired by these top-notch plein air artists. This year there is a planned paintout with the artists participating in the exhibit, and the public is allowed to join in the fun! Bring your gear and pack a lunch, or buy lunch nearby, if you plan to stay the whole day.
Event Programs for Saturday, April 18, 2026:
Downtown Paint-Out, 9 am - 12 noon, open to any artists who want to participate. Meet at the Museum between 8 and 8:30 am for instructions. Check in so you can find out the areas planned for artists to paint downtown.
Stay in town for lunch, and then return to the Museum for the Artists Talk, 1:30-3:30 pm with Carolyn Lord, Michael Obermeyer and Wendy Wirth. And of course, check out the awesome exhibit.
