PauseAI Rally

​70% of Americans want to pause or slow down dangerous AI development, but AI companies are racing to build a technology that get innocent people killed, replace our jobs, and threaten human extinction. The US government has not done nearly enough to protect Americans from this threat. We need to ban the development of AI smarter than humans, before it causes catastrophic harm.

​We can make the wise choice. Rival nations have worked together in the past to reduce nuclear arsenals, restrict chemical and biological weapons, reject human cloning, and save the ozone layer. We must do the same now for superintelligent AI.

​Join us August 1st at the Washington Monument and make your voice heard. Send a message to the media, the government, and the AI industry: the people demand a safe and secure future. We demand AI development be paused until it can be made safe.
