You show up for your child every day. This is your night.

Pause. Paint. is an intimate painting event hosted by Prairie Grit, designed specifically for parents and caregivers of children with special needs. No experience necessary. No performance required. Just 10 people, one room, and 90 minutes to breathe.

Led by Kara Thomas, our Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant ( and resident artist), you'll be guided through a painting from start to finish in a relaxed, judgment-free environment. All supplies are provided, pizza will be served, and the only thing you need to bring is yourself.
