Welcome to the Pause Art Workshop – Make an Emotions Dice (Ages 5-12)

Join us on Saturday 5th October 2024, at 10:30 AM at Pause's Digbeth Hub for a fun and creative workshop. Develop your confidence and resilience through art by making an Emotions Dice.

The session will start off with an icebreaker or introduction to a new mindfulness skill such as grounding/calm breathing. You will be encouraged to let your creativity flow and think of skills/positive affirmations/achievements. You will be able to take away your decorated dice as your relaxation tool. No artistic experience is needed, just come ready to have an enjoyable time! See you there!

Due to health and safety, a parent/carer must be present in the space. A separate area will be available, or parents/carers are also welcome to join the fun!

Please note that to take part in the workshops, children attending need to be registered with a Birmingham GP.

Pause is an Emotional Health and Wellbeing service for children and young people up to 25 years old. We run brief drop-in sessions (no referrals, assessments or bookings required!) to help children and young people express their feelings in a safe space and empower them by encouraging them to take ownership of their wellbeing and learn skills and strategies they can use independently to support this. Alongside this, we run a range of workshops to bring like-minded people together, teach them useful strategies and skills for wellbeing and show them what Pause is about!
