Paul Robinson :
Born in Chicago, the raw electric performers of
Maxwell Street were Robison's introduction to
the blues.
Playing in bands since high school, his musical
taste changed forever when he witnessed Albert
King perform in a small Wisconsin dive bar.
Robison has worked in country, rock, and cover
bands in Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, North
Carolina, Florida, Louisiana,Georgia Texas, New
Mexico and Colorado.
In the late '90s his musical focus turned solely to
his passion for Chicago Electric Blues.
He has opened for, or shared the stage with,
James Cotton, Sammy Blue, Johnny Winter, Jim
Schwall, Sammy Blue, Kyle Rowland and
Robert Lee Coleman.
Now living in Southern Colorado, you can catch
him performing his gritty Chicago style blues...
“Six strings and the truth”.
