Paul Lees Trio: The Music of Chick Corea

Paul Lees is a versatile pianist, keyboardist, composer, arranger, and educator in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He holds a Master of Music in Jazz Studies degree from the University of North Texas where he was a member of the seven-time Grammy-nominated One O’Clock Lab Band.
Paul has performed with Doc Severinsen, Christian McBride, Jimmy Heath, Marshall Gilkes, and Sean Jones and has recorded with David Friesen, Tom Harrell, Jon Faddis, James Morrison, Bob McChesney, Allen Vizzutti, and Louis Dowdeswell. He has also had the opportunity to perform concerts in Vienna, Prague, Rio, and Ukraine. In February 2023, Paul had the privilege of playing on a concert at Carnegie Hall directed by Mack Wilberg.
Joining Paul will be James Driscoll on bass and Stockton Helbing on drums. Their set will include Spanish influenced tunes by the artist Chick Corea whose album combined jazz and flamenco!
