On Friday, September 11, 2026, the Corona Chamber Foundation will bring the community together for a solemn morning of remembrance honoring the 2,998 lives lost on September 11, 2001, the heroes who responded, and the enduring spirit of our nation.
The 25th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony will take place at the Corona Historic Civic Center, 815 W. 6th Street, Corona, CA 92882. Check-in begins at 4:45 AM, followed by the reading of the names at 5:00 AM. The morning will feature prayer, remarks from local officials, the ringing of the bell, moments of silence, and a special remembrance of Corona’s connection to that historic day.
The Foundation is honored to welcome Captain Joseph Burgon, Commanding Officer of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, as the keynote speaker. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and highly decorated Navy officer, Captain Burgon brings more than two decades of military service and leadership to this meaningful commemoration.

Info: Join us for a patriotic morning of remembrance on Friday, September 11, at 5:00 AM at the Corona Historic Civic Center (815 W. 6th, Street, Corona, CA 92882). We will honor the lives lost through prayer, speeches from local officials, the ringing of the BELL, and remembering our CORONA Connection to the tragic day we know as 9/11.
We will begin reading names of those who lost their lives at 5:00 AM and will be pausing for a 25-second moment of silence for each one of the aircraft crashed
