WORCESTER MUSIC FESTIVAL - FREE ENTRYPatch (Patrick Evans) is a busker specialising in Irish fiddle tunes, fiddle tunes from Fairport Convention and guitar picking, whilst blowing mouth organ and feeting foot percussion.
Playing blues, folk, rock'n'roll, country, he can be found on the mean streets of Lichfield with any number of different guitars: harp guitar, dobro, acoustic or Gretsch.
Patch's appearances include Colne Blues festival, Redditch festival, Dudley festival, Stourbridge festival, Old Moseley Arms beer and cider festival, numerous pub gigs and lately Black Country Radio live Paul Collins Sunday show.
His influences include Richard Thompson, Hank Williams, Nick Cave and George Formby. More recently he met with, and was influenced by, The Brodsky Quartet after they invited him to performances of the Shostakovich quartets following a meeting whilst busking in Lichfield.
