Patch It Up

Come stitch a little joy into your day at our DIY Iron-On Patch Workshop. You can expect an afternoon of creativity, connection, and queer community. Whether you're a long-time crafter or have never touched a needle and thread in your life, this is your chance to make something uniquely yours.

We'll provide the supplies, iron-on magic, and all the essentials, but feel free to bring fabric scraps, buttons, or beads to personalize your creation. This is more than just a chace to make something cute—it’s a space to slow down, try something new, and connect with folks who get it. So grab a friend (or make one here), get your hands busy, and leave with a one-of-a-kind patch to wear, gift, or tuck away as a tiny reminder that you’re part of something special.

No experience needed—just bring yourself.

Our Collaborator

Kashvi Mullick currently lives and works in Tucson. A former student at the University of Arizona, he is starting grad school to study fashion in the Fall, and will start an MA in Costume Design or Textile Design. He has been sewing for the last 5 years, and what started as an attempt to learn a new skill has turned into (hopefully) a career. He spends most of his free time on sewing projects, other crafts, and baking. He also loves teaching and working with friends and family on creative projects. This workshop was inspired by attempts to make sewing and mending more accessible, the idea was to create a starting point for people to learn some intro skills while making something fun and practical to take home! He hopes to continue teaching sewing workshops in the future (including machine sewing and pattern making for clothes).

Cancelation Policy
Unfortunately for this event tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able! Please double check your calendar before booking. In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to send a friend in your spot. Just send us an email with their name 24 hours in advance.

When you register, please feel free to use your chosen name. We use this list to check people in and we want your first experience at the event to be an affirming one!
