Trans Day of Visibility Gala 2025

The Women & Gender Resource Center (WGRC) at the University of Arizona has served women, femmes, trans, non-binary and Two-Spirit folks for over 30 years. Thousands of students cross our threshold to seek support, a soft landing space, and affirmation. This year you can join us in strengthening that mission.

Trans Day of Visibility is a day not only to recognize the lives and contributions of trans people, but to look ahead to and celebrate their futures. In the spirit of this day we will be fundraising for the WGRC's scholarship. We are the only historical cultural center without scholarship funds, and our hope for this first-ever gala is to create an annual opportunity to both celebrate and support queer, trans, Black, Indigenous People of Color (QTBIPOC) students. All proceeds from this event will go directly to students who need our support now more than ever.

You can anticipate a beautiful grazing charcuterie table from local, woman-owned businesses, drinks, a silent auction, key-note addresses from queer and trans stakeholders on campus, and live music from DJ Hedonista. We encourage you to wear your most empowering outfit to adhere to a "cocktail hour" vibe, and to come ready to celebrate the spirit of Trans Day of Visibility. All identities are welcome.
