About this Event
2026 kicks off our Eighth Annual Patapsco Days Celebration! Patapsco Days is a month-long thematic event where we host programs about the history, environment, and sociopolitical aspects of the Patapsco Valley Heritage Area (PVHA). This year, our theme is "Celebrating 250 Years of History" in honor of the nation's 250th anniversary.
Join us and hear from Dr. Stephen McKenna (Preservation Howard County) as he discusses the research he conducted about the history of music heritage in Catonsville, Maryland's Arts District. This presentation will explore how Catonsville became known as Music City Maryland, and more.
This talk takes place at the Catonsville Branch of the Baltimore County Public Library. Seating is limited, so registration is recommended.
