Pastoral Film Screening

Join us for the Omaha premiere screenings of Pastoral, a completed 83-minute feature film. These screenings mark the first time the film will be shown publicly.

The evening will include a brief introduction, the film presentation, and an optional Q&A afterward for those who would like to stay.

Seating is limited to maintain a good viewing experience in the space.

These screenings are free to attend. A free-will donation to support the film and future projects is welcome, but not required.

About the Film

Pastoral is a quiet, contemplative drama about faith, connection, and finding beauty in unexpected places.

The film follows Pastor Jonah, a scholarly minister who struggles to connect with his new congregation in a small rural town. When he receives an anonymous note about suicide, he is drawn into the lives of the people around him in a more personal and demanding way.

Rooted in faith but centered on universal human experience, the film explores questions of responsibility, identity, and the small, often unseen moments that shape a community. Made by Midwestern filmmakers and set in the Midwest, Pastoralreflects the rhythms and relationships of small-town life.
