Pastels with Audrey DulmesThursday, January 15: 1-4 pm
Learn about the magical world of pastel while painting the classic still life in a not so classic way!
We will have fun with color, shape and line as we experiment with the joy of pastel. No experience is necessary. Several still lifes will be set up throughout the classroom. Students will work on simple shapes, color and the distinguishing qualities of pastel. The goal is to enjoy the pastel properties and use them for individual expression. The instructor, an award-winning pastel painter, looks forward to presenting all the wonderful ways you can make marks with the pastel. She believes that working from life is the best way for that to happen. All supplies are included.
