Skill Level: BeginnersClass Length: 6 weeks, 10am - 1pm each Wednesday
Class Description: This course is an introduction to painting with vibrant pastel pigment primarily using pastel pencils. Students will explore and practice demonstrated pastel application and blending techniques through guided completion of one chosen piece. The course will also review fundamentals like using reference photos, gridding, color basics, light and shadow, depth and perspective.
Students are required to purchase materials listed before January 29th, as well as bring reference photos sized to 8x10 for their final project.
Age Limitations: Ages 16 & Up
Supplies Included: table easels, practice paper; various application and blending tools. **pastels and Uart paper will not be provided**
