Celebrate the colors of the season at Pastels and Posies, a special spring workshop led by accomplished artist Mary Boeh of the Maryland Pastel Society at the Biggs Museum of American Art. In this introductory class, participants will explore the vibrant medium of soft pastels, learn about pastel papers, and practice foundational techniques used by pastel artists—all while drawing inspiration from beautiful spring flowers.
Perfect for beginners, this welcoming workshop is a wonderful way to try something new. Come on your own or make it a memorable Mother’s Day experience by creating side-by-side with a parent or grandparent and sharing the joy of art together.
