Pasta Party: Community Kitchen with Sophia Banks

Join LUSH Valley and Chef Sophia Banks for a Community Kitchen where you'll learn to craft ravioli from scratch, including the dairy-based ricotta filling!

Come together for a delicious night of hands-on cooking and shared connection. In this hands-on workshop, Chef Sophia will guide you through making fresh ricotta cheese and hand-crafted ravioli from scratch. After cooking together, the group will sit down to enjoy the beautiful meal they’ve created.

Please note that the meal in this workshop will be vegetarian, but contains dairy and is not vegan.

This workshop is open to all skill levels, whether you’re a seasoned cook or curious to try something new. Join us to learn new kitchen skills, build community and enjoy a homemade dinner in great company.

Allergy note: The recipes in this workshop will include dairy and gluten.

Sophia Banks resides in Courtenay after two decades of working as a chef in Toronto and Montreal. Sophia is a recipe developer for several vegan food brands and has worked extensively with plant-based and gluten-free foods. Sophia has a passion for gardening, food security and food preservation.
