Join Margaret for a fun and educative demonstration and hands-on workshop and learn how to make three types of pasta from scratch.
Using basic ingredients, you will learn how to mix and knead pasta dough using a classic fool-proof recipe. Working in pairs, you will learn how to use a hand-operated pasta machine to make spaghetti, fettucine and lasagne sheets.
At the end of the session you will enjoy a sit down lunch of freshly-made fettucine served with a home-made napoli (vegetarian) sauce and garlic bread.
Participants will leave the workshop with the a classic pasta dough recipe and the knowledge, skills and confidence to make pasta at home.
Participants will also be able to take home their final products to enjoy straight away or freeze.
Session cost includes all ingredients and additional items for the sit-down lunch.
Please note that the pasta flour contains gluten. Please bring an apron and a large plastic container for the pasta.
