An interactive workshop for parents and teens, led by Paul Thiebaut III and Mariamne Borden from Passion Coaching LLC.

This experiential workshop teaches families how to unlock the power of intrinsic motivation — the passions, interests, concerns, personal values, curiosities, and inner drives that move teens from within. Through hands-on activities, guided conversations, and practical Passion Coaching tools, parents and teens will learn how to understand each other more deeply, collaborate more effectively, and take meaningful action based on what intrinsically motivates them.

• Identify your own intrinsic motivations — and your teen’s — using the Passion Coaching Motivation Inventory.
• Have meaningful conversations that uncover passions, interests, personal values, and internal drivers.
• Use simple Passion Coaching tools to guide teens in exploring choices, actions, and goals that matter to them.
• Strengthen parent–teen relationships by listening for what lights each other up.
• Transform motivations into personalized Passion Challenges that spark confidence, growth, and momentum.

Parents and teens participate together.

You interview each other, understand each other’s motivations, then design and exchange Passion Challenges — creating shared goals and real-world action steps based on what you learned.
