How It Works
Step 1: Sign Up
A friendly DMK Theater staff member will collect performer names starting at 6:45 PM. Please note that performers may not be called in the exact order of the list, as our host curates the evening to ensure the best experience for everyone. If you have a time constraint, please let the theater staff or host know when you arrive, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Step 2: Performances
All types of performers are welcome, and performances should be 3–5 minutes. Guidelines by performer type include:
- Singers and Musicians: Please bring sheet music or a chord chart in your key. Our band is versatile and can play almost anything, but these materials help them support you.
- Actors, Poets, and Spoken-Word Artists: Please let staff know whether you will need a microphone upon arrival.
- Dancers: Please bring your audio track on a thumb drive and arrive at 6:45 PM to meet with our tech team.
Step 3: The Golden Rule
Have fun and support your fellow artists. Our goal is to keep the atmosphere uplifting so everyone feels comfortable sharing their talent on stage.
