Pike Autism Support Services of NEPA (PASS), a local 501-c non profit organization serving individuals and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, is excited to announce our second annual 5K Run/Walk for Autism! Our 5k will be held on Sunday, October 5th at Backroad Brewing Co in Milford, PA.
This event is open to individuals & families of all ages and abilities who are invited to participate however they are most comfortable (walking, running, a combination of both, etc). Participants are more than welcome to bring along strollers or other assistive devices (walkers, wheelchairs, etc).
This event will begin at 10:00am, with registration opening at 9:00am. Participants will receive a complimentary t-shirt, which participants are encouraged to wear during the run!
Children ages 5 years and under are welcome to participate free of charge with the registration of a parent/guardian.
Participants are invited to register the 4 legged family members to join in on our walk/run, which will include complimentary goodies for your pet! All animals must be friendly and leashed. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after animals.
We will have a photographer present who will have photos of participants available for purchase, with all sales benefitting PASS.
Beginning at 12pm, following the race, you are invited to join us for music, refreshments, craft and business vendors, face painting, 50/50 raffle, and more!
