Paso Play in the Garden: Butterflies & Blooms

Join Paso Recreation and our garden volunteers for Paso Play in the Garden, a new free hands-on workshop series at Uptown Family Park Garden (641 36th Street).
Butterflies & Blooms on Saturday, June 27th will feature a morning of butterfly exploration. We'll create seed bombs with pollinator-friendly wildflower seeds, make a butterfly craft, and explore the garden to identify host and feeding plants. The workshop will culminate with a butterfly release followed by a thirst-quenching butterfly refresher drink for attendees to enjoy.
Children of all ages are welcome with adult supervision. No registration required!
Workshops take place every other month on the fourth Saturday through the end of the year, with a new nature-themed activity each session. Come play, learn, and grow in the garden!
Here's what's next: On Saturday, August 22, Spots & Sprouts will take a deep dive into the fascinating life of the ladybug. On Saturday, October 24, Batty About Bats will introduce children to surprising facts about these important nighttime pollinators.
